Government schoolbooks contain many mistakes, are sloppily compiled, low quality and spread misleading information. Approximately12 million junior high schoolers – especially the poor ones – are the victims.

With funding to the tune of Rp.1.4 trillion, from a World Bank loan and the state budget, the books certainly do not come cheap.
