K.H. Mustofa Bisri, or Gus Mus as he is fondly called, is known for his peaceful disposition. The 60 year-old head of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) executive board seems to have a clear mind, able to look at issues from a broad perspective. He is taking the problematic split within the NU in the light of the presidential election, with a cool head.
