At the beginning of July, the DPR rejected the Tax Bill proposed by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani. The reason was minute: the legislators wanted the Bill to be submitted by the President, not by the Finance Minister.

But the rumored causes behind the rejection were significantly more than minute.
