IT has been one year since Bank Century collapsed and since it was taken over by the Savings Guarantee Board. Bank Century has now vanished, to reemerge as Bank Mutiara.

But seemingly endless problems seem to beset this private bank once owned by Robert Tantular, from its existence as a result of a merger between banks CIC with Danpac and Pikko on December 2004, to the question of where the Rp6.76 trillion intended to rescue it actually went.
