THE collapse of Bank Century and its takeover by the Savings Guarantee Board (LPS) on November 21, 2008 revealed a great amount of rotten practices in the bank. But it was not Bank Century alone that came under close scrutiny but also its supervision by the central bank, Bank Indonesia.
