We must work hard until September

RIYAD al-Maliki can still remember his son’s words when they arrived in Dublin, Ireland, to further his studies. On their first day there, his son called on the telephone to say, “For the first time I feel real freedom. I can walk anywhere at any time. No one can stop me and I don’t have to carry my passport,” said Riyad al-Maliki, the Palestinian Foreign Minister, quoting one of his kids, now in their second year in Dublin.
