EVER since he decided to be a pilot in the mid-1980s, Mahlup Gozali realized that disaster was always a distinct possibility. In fact, this father of five recently 'retired' his flight instructor's license. Apart from trying to reduce his work time, he has been worried about the frequency of accidents happening to trainers and students. "It's quite different flying with an unqualified pilot," he said.
