SINCE September 11, Drug and Food Monitoring Agency (BPOM) Penny Kusumastuti Lukito has been in the United States to visit vaccine research centers in Boston, Massachusetts, and Houston, Texas. She is on a mission to realize the national vaccine self-sufficiency through cooperation with these institutions. In Houston, she is scheduled to visit the research center of the Baylor College of Medicine which developed a recombinant protein vaccine
