Anindya Bakrie ousted Arsjad Rasjid as the Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin). The organization is becoming like a political party and enjoys large funds coming in from overseas.
TENSIONS rose on the third floor of the Menara Kadin in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Sunday, September 15. A group of burly individuals wearing red and black shirts surrounded and blocked off the entire floor. That day, in one of the rooms, Arsjad Rasjid, the General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), had a scheduled interview with Tempo.
