Air Force Pilot Ian Fuady: "We were really under threat"

THE order to report to their commander came suddenly. The four pilots practically "flew" to their superior's office. There, they got their order clearly and crisply: "Prepare to fly the F-16 fighter jets." Within minutes they were inside the planes and taking off into the skies. That event took place at the Iswahyudi Air Force Base, in Madiun, East Java, last July 3.
