Probosutedjo, the half-brother of former New Order president, Suharto, has been sentenced to four years in prison on corruption charges.

AT 2pm last Wednesday, Judicial Commission member Soekotjo Soeparto received a surprise call on his mobile phone from Probosutedjo. I have heard that the court has already handed down its verdict. I didnt suspect it would be so fast, he said.
Probo complained and asked the Judicial Commission for support, Soeparto told Tempo, last Wednesday.
At about 3:30pm, Soepartos phone rang again. It was Probosutedjo again. I have been found guilty, he said.
