The Supreme Court issues behavior guidelines for judges prohibiting them from receiving gifts of any kind.

RELEASED last May, the behavior guidelines have sparked debate. The 36-page set of guidelines was issued by the Supreme Court to provide a loophole for judges to receive parcels. This may compromise a judges independence and respectability, and should not be tolerated, said the Chairman of the National Law Reform Committee, Firmansyah Arifin.
