THERE was still dry blood on the main road of Bujur Tengah village, Batu Marmar subdistrict, Pamekasan, Madura, East Java. Part of the blood was covered with banana leaves and with earth. Some of the blood had become blackened from the suns rays.
Drips of blood led to the land in the corner of the village. A patch of tobacco plantation was messed up. Footprints were mixed with tobacco plants which had been flattened. This was indeed a sign of viol
