Approval Despite Objections

A BARRAGE of disrupting objections made the decision process very difficult for the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) during a plenary session last December. From among 34 council members five rejected the proposed amendment to the Regulation on Protocol and Finances of the DPRD leader and members. Thus, when the session leader held a vote, the five objecting council members from the Justice & Prosperity Party (PKS) were defeated.
