ALI Mazi’s cellphone rang on Tuesday last week. A number belonging to Regional House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Aksa Mahmud appeared on the screen. “I hear you’ve been released, yes?” Aksa was heard saying on the phone. “Yes, Bang, thank God,” answered Ali.
Aksa, who heard the news about the judge’s verdict on the radio, also admitted to feeling pleased. “Congratulations. Apparently there is still justice in this country.
