People have been wondering when the government will finally take firm action against those who have wrecked the banking sector. Of the dozens of banks that have looted Rp144.5 trillion of BLBI loans to date, only one has been brought to court: Bank Aspac, whose deputy president director, Hendrawan Haryono, has become a suspect in scenes played out at the South Jakarta District Court.
