THE tense mood could be felt at the North Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office in Medan, last week. For four days, a team from the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) questioned several prosecutors. This questioning was connected with the decision to release Adelin Lis, who had been charged with illegal logging and damaging the environment, which resulted in state losses of Rp202 trillion.
