Even though the Arafuru Sea is declared overfished, the Maritime Affairs & Fisheries Department still issues fishing permits.

THE two vessels, Sutti Reefer and Brilliant Reefer, dropped anchor at Benjina Port, Southeast Maluku. Their crews were unaware of the fact that they were being spied on from a distance by Police Commissioner Jeffry Dian and his men.
