THE brown box arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Sunday three weeks ago, weighing more than 200 kilograms. Transported on a Singapore Airlines plane, the package labeled “auto parts” entered the scanner for items that must be inspected in the customs area of the airport. When x-rayed, telescopic sights, rifle barrels, box magazines, rifle butts, hundreds of projectiles and weapons accessories showed up on the screen.
