THE US$13 million (Rp120 billion) is already in the Attorney General’s account at Bank Rakyat Indonesia’s (BRI) Kebayoran Baru branch in South Jakarta. Transferred last Monday by Jakarta property tycoon Tan Kian, the money was the rightful property of the Indonesian Military’s insurance company, Asabri, and had been used by Tan and Henry Leo to purchase Plaza Mutiara, which turned out to be owned by Tan himself.
