Djoko and a ‘Blue Uniform’

“Blue Energy” is set to bring Djoko Suprapto closer to becoming a member of the “blue uniform” community—prison inmates. His examination dossier complete, he faces four years in jail for defrauding Muhammadiyah University in Yogyakarta through his sham electricity project.However, Djoko’s business misadventures are not only confined to Yogya—his “electricity project” spread to Surabaya and Jakarta as well.

DJOKO “Blue Energy” Suprapto will soon be brought to trial. After being examined for three months by the Yogyakarta Police, the “water-into-fuel magician” dossier has been completed.

“It’s complete,” said head of Yogyakarta’s Special Crimes Unit, Asst. Sr. Comr. Yudha Wibowo. This week, the dossier was submitted to Yogyakarta’s High Prosecutor’s Office which will in turn surrender the case to the district court.
