THE eighth floor of Kebon Sirih Tower, Central Jakarta, was peaceful. On Wednesday last week, no activity was noticeable there. Beside the lift were printed the words: PT Sarana Rekatama Dinamika, complete with an arrow showing the corporate office. But when Tempo tried to enter, an officer got in the way: none of the company’s officials were in. All of them were out of town. “We don’t know when they are back,” said the man named Fandy.
