ITS name is fearsome: The Corruptor Pursuit Team. This is the team that it was hoped would track down and capture those who have stolen state funds and are now living overseas. Formed in 2005, the leadership of the team has already changed twice. The first to lead the team was then-Deputy Attorney General Basrief Arief. The second, since 2007, was Muchtar Arifin, a former Deputy Attorney General who retired two months ago.
