TJHAY Lie Khim repeatedly wiped the tears from her cheeks. Grief was clearly seen on the face of the 56-year-old woman. The verdict of the Singapore Coroner’s Court crushed her hope that the death of her youngest son would be further investigated. The court ruled that the death of her son, David Widjaja, was a suicide. “It wasn’t a murder,” said Victor Yeoh, the sole judge who led the trial.
