THE cheer did not last long. Initially, Kamaludin Arfah was ecstatic at the news that the Supreme Court had rejected the government’s appeal over the national examination. This was really important for the headmaster of Irnas Makassar High School. Kamaludin was of the opinion that the national examination is not appropriate due to quality disparity between schools.
