Constitutional Court judge Arsyad Sanusi’s daughter and a brother-in-law are alleged to have received bribe money from Dirwan Mahmud to ensure victory in his court case. Arsyad now says he will report Dirwan to the police.

IT was around midday when the two men knocked on the door of Constitutional Court judge Arsyad Sanusi’s apartment on the fourth floor of Tower One in the State Institution’s Apartment Complex in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, in the third week of August. One of the men, Zaimar Zainuddin, a brother-in-law of Arsyad, wanted to introduce Dirwan Mahmud to Arsyad’s only daughter, Nesyawati, a lawyer and owner of a road construction business.
