The Attorney General’s Office is honing its evidence on Yusril Ihza Mahendra’s involvement in a corruption case in the Justice Ministry. The acquittal of Romli Atmasasmita does not automatically mean that Yusril will also walk free.

SURROUNDED by four lawyers, Yusril Ihza Mahendra arrived at the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) in Block M, South Jakarta on Tuesday last week. He asked to meet Attorney General Basrief Arif or Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Muhammad Amari. Yusril was at the AGO to submit a request urging the prosecution service to drop the case.
