The KPK collared Youth and Sports Ministry Secretary, Wafid Muharam, when he received checks for Rp3.2 billion from Mindo Rosalina Manulang. The checks were allegedly payment from PT Duta Graha Indah for Wafid’s help in a tender for the construction of an athletes’ dormitory in Palembang. Mindo Rosalina implicated Muhammad Nazaruddin, a businessman who is also general treasurer of the Democrat Party, for his role in the effort to win the project.

STEPPING out of the paddy wagon, Mindo Rosalina Manulang rushed into the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) office. Last Wednesday, this marketing director of PT Aneka Negeri was questioned as a suspect for the first time. Earlier, on Thursday two weeks ago, Mindo Rosalina had been interrogated by KPK investigators for almost 20 hours. By then, the KPK had not been able to extract much information from the 30-year-old woman.
