The Supreme Court’s cassation decision declared Prita guilty in her defamation case. But the verdict contradicts the civil case decision in her favor.

PRITA Mulyasari was unhappy. She took three days’ leave starting Monday last week from her work as call center staffer of the head office of Bank Sinarmas Jakarta. She was not going to be vacationing or spending her time with her three children. The 34-year-old woman wanted to concentrate on how to face the defamation case she was again entangled in.
