The Constitutional Court has decided that Busyro Muqoddas’s term as head of the KPK is to be four years. The DPR opposes this decision.

ON the 16th floor of the Constitutional Court building, Jakarta, a consultative meeting of judges was in progress. Thursday two weeks ago, the nine judges of the court were meeting to formulate a decision on a judicial review on the term of office of the replacement head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Colored by a dissenting opinion of judge Akil Mochtar, the meeting decided to agree to the request for the judicial review.
