Udar Pristono and Prawoto are suspected of manipulating the tender for the 2013 procurements of TransJakarta buses. The Attorney General's Office has quietly discovered similar crimes in the previous years.

The office on the third floor of the Jakarta City Hall appeared quiet on Monday morning last week. Two staff members and a security guard were sitting with their knees up. The owner of the room, a member of the Governor's Team for Acceleration of Development, Udar Pristono, was not there, even though on that particular morning the team was holding a meeting. "Usually Pak Pristono comes in at 8 o'clock," one of Udar's staffers told Tempo.
