His attorney, Thomson Situmeang, said his client had resigned himself to his fate over the court ruling in the scandal, one of corruption in the Forestry Ministry's Integrated Radio Communication System project. "He's exhausted," said Thomson. "In his defense plea, he stated he would not appeal the verdict, whatever it was."
