More than a thousand people with faces occupied the Purwokerto District Court yard. Apparently they could not contain their anger, although the panel of judges, chaired by Ohan Burhanuddin, had sentenced the defendant Iranto alias Ranto to death, on Monday last week. Yelling and throwing stones, they ran after the police detainees car, with Ranto in it. The police had to fire several warning shots. Only then did the masses disperse.
