This shooting has again scarred the face of the Indonesian police force. On June 23, Cecep Rohana, a civilian `timer' (in charge of directing and scheduling public transport) at Galur, on Jl. Letjen Suprapto in Central Jakarta, was shot dead by a stray police bullet. Cecep was just 21 years old. The right side of his chest was blown open by a bullet fired from the gun of Police Brigadier I, Dongar Panjaitan, a police detective from the Metro Jaya
