Officials at the directorate-general of customs are disagreeing about tariffs and import taxes on gold imported by 11 companies at Soekarno-Hatta Airport from 2019-2021. State losses could potentially reach Rp2.9 trillion.
THE document is titled Irregularites in the Importation of Gold Bars at the Soekarno-Hatta Customs Office. This four-page report contains an examination of the import of gold by 11 companies, one of them being Aneka Tambang (Antam), from 2019-2021. “This is a routine analysis to see the potential for import violations,” said R.
