THE uncovering of the ferienjob case, or holiday work program, in Germany has shaken the world of higher education in Indonesia. Investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police revealed that students participating in the ferienjob program in various cities in Germany have become victims of human trafficking crimes (TPPO). Since 2022, it is estimated that there have been 33 campuses and 1,047 students
