The Environment Ministry thwarted the sale of Javan rhino horns in Palembang. This is linked to a network of Ujung Kulon rhino poachers.

WHILE carrying a rhino horn, Zainal arrived at the house of Aan alias Ical on Friday afternoon, August 23, 2024. Aan’s house is on Jalan Rama VII, Palembang city, South Sumatra, or around six kilometers from Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport. Zainal, 60, visited Aan because he was informed that somebody had agreed to the price of the horn he would sell.
