The Business Competition Supervisory Commission has suffered another loss at the hands of Indonesia's courts; a decision causing legal observers to question the use of antimonopoly legislation.

On Monday, September 3, the Central Jakarta District Court ordered the Business Competition Super-visory Commission (KPPU) to pay Rp2 billion in damages to PT Cipta Sarana Duta and PT Trimegah Sekuritas, on charges of slander.
