International fame holds no guarantees in Indonesia. On February 3, Jakarta Commercial Court judicial panel chairman Justice Putu Supadmi overruled a lawsuit from international cigarette giant, Davidoff & Cie. S.A., which holds the license to produce Davidoff brand cigars, perfumes and lighters—against NV Sumatra Tobacco Trading Co.
