THE shot was heard amid the blaring house music in the Fluid Club and Lounge on the second floor of the Hilton Hotel, Jakarta. Visitors who were dancing zealously under sparkling lights remained undisturbed. In fact, in a bar close to the dance floor, a dying man was on the floor.
