SIGIT, a 17-year-old youth, is now a popular figure in Geneng hamlet, Kowangan village, Temanggung regency, Central Java. He is often asked by local residents to relate a sensational event: the police raiding of a lathe workshop in the hamlet. The auto spare parts shop was suspected of being used for assembling illegal firearms. The grade three student of the Dr. Sutomo Technical High School was an eyewitness of the raid.
