Six villagers in Bandung have been evicted from their land even though they possess valid land certificates. Ironically, the eviction is based on a district court order.

INDONESIA'S Coordinating Minister for Political & Security Affairs, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, must have been overwhelmed as he listened to the complaints of a group of local residents from Lembang district in Bandung, last Thursday, June 26. The group told Yudhoyono that they are being evicted from their land, even though they possess valid land certificates.
