A court has sentenced an illegal broker to six months in prison. Legal observers have criticized the decision for being too lenient.

LAST Thursday, a Central Jakarta District Court judicial panel read out its verdict over PT Indo Global Nusantara boss, Frans Frederick Edward Wullur. Wullur had been charged with carrying out illegal commodity trading without a permit from the Commodity Trading Supervisory Board (Bappebti). Wullur had also been charged with fraud.
