Judges have given companies the green light for a North Jakarta shore project.

Last Wednesday, the Jakarta Administrative Court upheld a lawsuit filed by a consortium of reclamation project corporations against Indonesia's State Minister for the Environment, Nabiel Makarim. The court ruled that Makarim did not have the authority to issue a decree overturning the project. Makarim was extremely disappointed with the verdict. "I have taken this to heart", he said after receiving news of the ruling.
