IT’S a lazy Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s hot out, too, every bit as hot as Jakarta. As I walk down the sidewalk, searching for an Indonesian in the neighbourhood, I stumble across the local Barack Obama campaign headquarters. The door is open and I step inside. I’m greeted by two middle-age ladies, one black and one white. They are working without pay, interested only in getting Obama elected.
