Ethnic Voting Rights
Research carried out by Rebeka Harsono, Executive Director of the Anti-Discrimination Foundation, indicates that hundreds of thousands of ethnic Tionghoa (Chinese) are threatened with losing their rights to vote due to the issue of citizenship letter. They could not vote simply because they could not produce the Indonesian citizenship letter (SKBRI), which is no longer issued by the Department of Justice & Human Rights.
