I would like to straighten out an article in the Regions section of TEMPO (November 13, 2000) regarding the defamation trial of my name by the reporters of Canang weekly newspaper.

I need to explain that the awards from the West Sumatra Arts Council (DKSB) for three nominators in the fields of essay, fine arts and dance were cancelled because the judges were not complying to the rules set up by the DKSB.
