We would like to respond to the articles in TEMPO (November 27 edition) regarding Bank Indonesia, the resignation of BI’s deputy governors and the plan for amendment of Law No.23/1999 on Bank Indonesia. In our opinion, such articles tend to be an analysis, or coverage that is not based on facts. We can even say that it was a one-sided analysis without any prior checks and balances as normally exercised by TEMPO.
