When I read Nietzsche's Thus Spake Zarathustra, the 19th century German existentialist blatantly declared: "God is dead". Audacious and highly objective. The rhetoric can be translated as how God has been removed from humankind's self-consciousness—every human's behavior is almost always out of control—or can also be said that humankind has lost its sense of humanity.
