Cheap Cars, Technology Transfer

IN my view, Tempo’s April 21-27, 2009 issue’s opinion Cheap Cars—What for? is not supported by a strong argument other than a highly Jakarta-oriented reason. Tempo says the manufacturing of low-cost cars is intended to get motorcyclists to use cheap cars and for manpower reasons.

If this program is genuinely sourced to national investment, I think it should be supported because there are strategic measures
